OPS Fernandez looked sexy in her backless black gown at the launching of her new album, Universal Records' “Silver” (for her 25th anniversary celebration), at Teatrino.

Yes, she has kissed and made up with ex-hubby Martin Nievera after he made some snide remarks about her sexy fotos in FHM that slighted her. They just had a successful concert tour in the U.S. and she has accepted that Martin now has a new baby with Katrina Ojeda who gave birth to a baby boy named Santino Martin in Las Vegas last Tuesday. Martin has also composed the new song, “Still In Love With You,” in her album.

About Jomari Yllana, she says it's not true they've parted ways. “Nothing has changed,” she says. “We still get in touch, have dinner occasionally. He knows my priority remains to be my sons and my career. We're both happy, but I'm not saying na we're happy together. Ako, happy, dahil marami akong trabaho. I've shot a new movie, ‘Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah', and aside from this new album, I'll have my birthday concert at Crowne Plaza on December 11 and a New Year's show at the Shangri-La on December 31.”

When Pops sang one of the Tagalog songs in her album, “Wag Kang Mangako” by Cecille Azarcon, she says it fits her perfectly, simply because she doesn't want Jom making any promises to her that he can't keep. Aside from this song, the other great cuts in the LP are Vehnee Saturno's “Kung Malalaman Mo” and “You Said Goodbye”, Moy Ortiz & Edith Gallardo's “Anong Sabi ng Puso Mo”, Babsie Molina and Edith Gallardo's “Mahal Kita Dahil Mahal Kita”, Jim Brickman's “By Heart”, her son Robin's “Friends” (where they do a duet) and her revivals of “What I Did For Love” and Pia Zadora's “Wrong for Me to Say I Love You” from the movie “Butterfly” that's the album's carrier single.

Obvious na 'di alam ni Pops Fernandez na manganganak si Katrina Ojeda noong October 23, the same date ng launching ng kanyang Silver album from Universal Records, kaya “very soon” at “any day now” ang sagot nito nang tanungin kung kailan magsisilang ang GF ng ex-hubby.

Sabagay, natanggap na ni Pops na magkakaroon ng kapatid ang mga anak na sina Robin at Ram at excited na raw sila ng mga anak to welcome the new baby.

Thankful ito na madaling naintindihan ng mga anak ang pagdating ni Santino Martin dahil napag-usapan na nila.

“Pinag-usapan namin ang baby para alam nilang I'm okay at para 'di sila kept in the dark. Gustong malaman ng mga anak ko kung okay ako. I also want them to experience having a kid brother. Mas masasaktan ako kung 'di nila iwi-welcome ang baby,” sabi ni Pops.

Very proud pa si Pops kina Robin at Ram dahil may contribution na sa kanyang career. Si Robin ang sumulat at ka-duet niya Friends, na kasama sa Silver album. Dream come true ito kay Pops.

“I've always wanted a song from him,” aniya. Ang remake ng Wrong for Me to Say I Love You ang carrier single nito. Composition naman ni Martin Nievera ang Still in Love with You.

Si Ram naman ang nagturo kay Pops ng British accent para mas maganda ang delivery ng lines sa role niyang Queen Femina Suarestellar Baroux sa Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah Zee Moveeh. Ipinabasa niya sa anak ang script habang pinakikinggan.

May sunud-sunod na concert din ni Pops. Sa December 11, may concert siya sa Crowne Plaza , at sa December 31, sa Shangri-La Hotel sa Makati.
