odel Jeri Lee, her bouncing booty, you behind her in line dancing… it's party!

Its lunch at a joint called the Filling Station in Makati . The usual noontime crowd is in, digging in on some grub or playing a round of pool over a bottle or two of beer. The mood is laid back, too early for any worthwhile action to happen.

Until about a couple of hours later, when an Eva Longoria look-alike walks in wearing a robe, with almost nothing underneath. She checks out the pool table and considers using it for purposes other than what it's meant for---says, sprawling on top of it—for the FHM camera. Action ensues in the joint as a major babe shoot unfolds.

And the crowd, who had lazed over lunch, is still cool, but they are slow-burning inside. It's half-Pinay, half-Mexican model Jeri Lee is hard at work…

Wow, you're on fire in this shoot!

I know! It's fun. And the lights make me look good.

Obviously you're not shy at all in showing skin.

I'm a performer. I love the attention. Plus I'm not picky. I'm very easygoing. Anything that you put on me, I can totally pull it off.

How did you kick-start your modeling career?

I had a boyfriend who was into car detailing and he entered a car in a show. I tagged along and was just hanging out with my homies. I saw these girls and I was like: “What are they doing? Why are they half-naked?” (laughs) Then I told myself, “I can do that.” It looked easy. So I went to another show with my girlfriends. We dressed up cute and whatnot. We started walking around and everybody was looking at us. They were asking to have their photos taken with us. Then somebody offered us to model. I got into cars and did some research. And shortly after, my career took off.

How are the crowds in car shows? Are they rowdy and obnoxious?

You get a little bit of both worlds; you get the polite ones with the rowdy ones. But generally, they're great.

Do they come up to you and offer indecent proposals?

Not in person. It's just generally great vibes at the shows. But on MySpace, on the internet, they can get a little dirty ha ha!

How do you respond?

I read it, I laugh, I delete. I don't take it so hard or anything. I just think it's funny how guys perceive women; how we are sex symbols to them. We look easy to them but we're not.

What about your parents? You have Filipino lineage—how did they react to your modeling?

I thank my mom for my modeling; she got me started when I was a kid, at two. It's in my blood and I have a passion for it. I love what I do. My mom's not your typical strict Filipina mom. She was just shocked when she saw my photos not wearing any clothes. But now, my family's proud of me. They've seen my stuff and they don't think of me any differently. I've been traveling a lot, making good money, getting better and better projects.

Will you go into acting as well?

Well I've been featured in several music videos. I was in DJ Shadow's video “Three Freaks.” I'm also going to be in this punk band Electroclash's video, which will be coming out soon.

We heard you were also in Playboy.

Yeah! August 2005. That was a lot of fun. We were in Hawaii , and it was beautiful. It's funny because when I was young, I told my parents that, “When I grow up I'm going to be in Playboy!” And I actually got in!

Do you have a boyfriend?

Yes, I do. He's very supportive.

Is he Filipino?

He's Taiwanese.

How did you guys meet?

Well, I'm also a go-go dancer. He promotes club. And I guess he liked me and so I met up with him. He asked me if I wanted to go to a spa. I'd never been to a spa so I went with him, ha ha! And I was like, “Is this how you ask girls for a date?” But it was a fun day. After that, I fell in love with him.

Let's put aside the boyfriend for a while and rate us Pinoy guys.

Here, they're very respectful and very traditional. But back in the US , they're very forward. “Give me your number. I'm a holler at ya…”

But you do like that! Someone asks you to go to a spa and you go with him.

Well, it's because he's really cute! He's a sweetheart.

How do you feel when people see you dancing onstage?

I love getting attention and I love dancing. Everywhere I go, people I meet would come up to me and praise me for my energy. I'm not high, I'm not drunk. I just love doing it. They call me the Energizer bunny because I go shaking my booty all the time!

What do you do on your down time?

Stay at home. Stay with friends, family, my boyfriend. Staring home and sleeping, logging on the Internet and on MySpace
( www.myspace.com/jerilee ).

What's your grand plan?

Well, I know I am successful already but I want to be more successful. I want my own business in entertainment and in the modeling industry. I also want to go back to school and finish nursing.

Why nursing?

I love taking care of people. I'm not afraid of blood and I'm not squeamish. And I want to do it so my grandparents would know that I did something other than my modeling to make them happy. I'll do it for my inang, my great grandmother because she always wanted me to be a nurse. It's a Filipino thing, I guess!
