Those lines from the song In Your Eyes (Michael Masser/Dan Hill) take on a deeper meaning vis-a-vis Kris Aquino's present state of being. She and husband James Yap are successfully going through a healing process after that ugly incident that almost wrecked their marriage and put in danger the life of their first child, James Jr., whose arrival last April 19 radically changed the couple's outlook on life.

In Your Eyes is one of the 17 songs personally chosen by Kris for the album Kris Aquino: Songs of Love & Healing in which she reveals before each song her thoughts and feelings like she has never done before, baring her reflective, sensitive and unconditionally-loving side.

Released by Universal Records, the “must-have” album also carries these songs: You; What Matters Most; Rainbow Connection; Healing; Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star/Lullaby Medley; I Will Be Here; Isn't She Lovely; Smile; Somewhere Over The Rainbow; Hush, Little Baby; True Colors; What a Wonderful World; Payapang Daigdig; Somewhere, Somehow; Where Is Love; and Sa Ugoy ng Duyan. “I recorded the album while I was heavy with Baby James,” said Kris. “Now, I play the songs to him to put him to sleep. James and I are okay now. I told him, ‘I love you now more than ever.' The song In Your Eyes sums up what we feel for each other.”

As a bonus, the album contains an info sheet on Kris' list of favorites which gives her fans a clearer insight and closer look into Kris' heart and soul.
