hey want to be married in May, but not this year yet, maybe in 2008, according to sweethearts Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo. At their recent contract-signing and press conference for their Regal Films' upcoming movie project, Ryan admitted that if ever they'll get married, he'd really prefer it to be in the month of May. Because his parents' wedding anniversary is in May, and also his brother's, he said.
Juday also agrees on a May wedding. "Kasi May ikinasal ang kapatid ko, naghiwalay na sila, pero kung ako ikakasal din sa May, baka mabaliktad ko ang malas..."
Anyway, they aren't ready to settle down to domesticity yet, but they'll come to that of course, being serious in their relationship. In the meantime, they'll concentrate in their respective careers.
They don't have any definite movie project yet under Regal and Juday announced at the press conference that they are accepting story ideas at the moment. They want something light, a comedy of course, like their blockbuster movie under Star Cinema, "Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo."
Juday's manager, Alfie Lorenzo, may have some misgivings with Star Cinema execs (for not giving his prized talent enough job to do) although the film company has expressed desire to do a sequel to "Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo." If Juday can do a movie with Regal, it's because she has no exclusive movie contract with Star Cinema. But she's exclusively tied to ABS–CBN when it comes to TV work.
In signing up with Regal (for only one movie) Juday stressed that she's just going back to where she started her movie career. Regal produced her and former loveteam mate Wowie de Guzman's early movies.
It was also a Regal movie, "Sabel," which gave Juday a Best Actress trophy.
Her manager said that if Juday has become successful (he called her the last of the acting icons of her time whose luster never fades) it's because "marunong siyang lumingon sa pinanggalingan."
Alfie laments the failure of Star Cinema to make an immediate follow-up movie to "Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo" the top-grossing entry to the 2006 Metro Manila Film Festival. This is why they accepted the offer of GMA Films to team up Juday with Jolina Magdangal in the horror flick "Ouija."
Alfie also laments the fact that ABS–CBN gave preference to "mestizas and those with big boobs" and products of reality-TV shows, but did they stay long?
By the way, Ryan signed up for two movie projects with Regal, the first of which will be entitled "My Kuya's Wedding" with Maja Salvador (Mother Lily's choice), and hopefully Juday, if she's not busy during the shooting, will be asked to make a special appearance.
About their team-up movie under Regal, Ryan said they're now reading and evaluating two scripts. The fact that the producers asked them to be part of the selection process was very flattering, Ryan said.

Meet DannieBoi, a very promising recording artist
US-based Fil-American Dannie Farmer (a.k.a. DannieBoi) will soon have his first album released and distributed nationwide by Synergy Music Corp.!
DannieBoi, who is so excited by the release of the album simply entitled "DannieBoi," is hoping fervently that Filipino music lovers will patronize it.
"I guarantee that there will at least one or more songs in the album that will become Pinoy favorites," DannieBoi said with much expectations.
Of the 10-track album, DannieBoi wrote eight, one was written by Eroc Narvaez (in Tagalog), and the 10th is a revival, "In A Rush."
DannieBoi has been visiting the Philippines about two years ago with his parents and perhaps he saw the potential of launching his first album in Manila .
DannieBoi took up a course on TV/Radio/Film and Theater at the San Jose State University in California . He finished his secondary education at the Milpitas High School in Milpitas , California where he was on the honor roll and was the commissioner of leadership.
Locally, he has been actively guesting in several special events and promoting clothing apparels as fashion model. Among these shows were the BUM Equipment SM Tour, Series of CD Jeans, Kacha On Tour shows, Walker Sexier Than Nude, and the Sundance Clothing Catalogue last February.
He was also on the cover of the Feb. 19, 2007 issue of the Intrigue Magazine.
DannieBoi also sang in some of the shows, but he takes so much pride of his guesting at the Klownz Bar, Quezon City where he sang with Allan K and Teri Onor last July 15, 2006.
While he was in high school, he participated in many theater productions, where he sang and danced.
Of his self–titled album, "DannieBoi," which is classified as R&B, the songs are: "On My Mind," "Hey Girl," "Shake That Thing," "I Can't Take It," "Let It Go," "In A Rush (Revival)," "No More," "Hold Up," "Back In My Life," and "Dapat Pa Ba."
The song "On My Mind" was produced by Josh Jobe with DannieBoi as co-producer; "Hey Girl," "Shake That Thing," and "I Can't Take It" were produced by DannieBoi, and the rest by Eric Narvaez.
Of his album, DannieBoi said:
"My sound is like R&B, Pop, and hip-hop, house music all mixed together."
He is versatile as he also sings some love songs.
"Overall, what I want people to get from my music is the feel-good vibe that is captures. Not only will it make you dance to the beat... I put my heart into the lyrics I wrote," DannieBoi stressed.
Some of those who have influenced his music are Michael Jackson, Prince, James Brown, Usher and Justin Timberlake.
"But I have a unique style that separates me from a typical R&B singer," DannieBoi added. "The songs I wrote personally are from my experiences, and experiences of my friends... and my music is perfect for sound-tripping because of the many flavors I provided in the album!"
The album, "DannieBoi" will be launched on April 1 at the Celebrity Lounge, Quezon City .
