here are a lot of reasons why Isabel Oli, who said she never expected to be a well-known actress, is blooming these days. For one, she has become one of the more sought after actresses in the GMA 7 artists' stable, what with her stunning, classic beauty. And although she has been focusing on acting, Isabel said she's also exploring the possibility of a singer career.

"Hopefully, either this year or next year, I'll be able to come out with my own album."

Isabel is also a sought-after product endorser and, what makes her blooming, and glowing! these days is Myra E. To make skin healthy, she uses Myra E Moisturizer for her face, and the new Myra E Hand & Body Lotion (with breakthrough Vitamin E beads) for her whole body.

"Tuwang-tuwa talaga ako sa Vitamin E beads ng new Myra E Hand & Body Lotion. They're very soft and gentle on the skin. Ang bilis pa ma-absorb. Besides, I really love its scent," Isabel said.

She also said she's happy and proud to be endorsing the two Myra E products. "I really feel so blessed because I know that Myra E is a well-loved brand. I'm really very happy to be a Myra E woman!"

A health buff, Isabel takes good care of herself. She watches what she eats. "I avoid food na masyadong oily. I love eating vegetables, fruits and fish; and I drink plenty of water — 8 to 10 glasses a day." Plus, she keeps fit by working out at the gym at least four times a week.

Industry insiders consider Isabel Oli as one of the "IT" girls, but at the end of the day, she considers herself first and foremost a daugther - of her parents, with whom she's very close to - and of God. Her strong Christian faith sees her through the most difficult circumstances, and keeps her in touch with reality.

"There are so many of us so-called ‘IT' girls in showbiz, but that does not mean we are special. It just means we are given a special and beautiful opportunity to touch people's hearts. I am really thankful to God for showering me with such blessings."

Soon, the girl who first gained public attention via a Max's fried chicken TV ad with Piolo Pascual, and later as Isabel in GMA 7's fantaserye "Sugo," will be doing more TV and movie projects under her home studio.

Now you know why Isabel Oli is blooming.

‘Angels,' a movie of moments

Angel Locsin's first venture into the movie production business was well–received last Sunday during its premiere night at the SM Megamall Cinema 10. The theater was filled with fans who reacted to almost every turning point of the entire film (and there are many because it is a trilogy).

Even if it was a typical 'The first episode, "Angel of Mine" starring Angel and Eunice ‘Charming' Lagusad had touching good moments. Gelay, played by Charming, moved in with Angie (Angel Locsin), a reporter whose fearless exposes have led to a dangerous day–in and day–out for the bida. She bares with Gelay, the daughter of her former yaya who left her. As a woman of the world with her own predicaments (Angie's mother is an alcoholic and mistress of a Colonel), she rejects the affection and the free spirited nature of Gelay but one life and death situation made Angie realize she has an angel on earth in the little girl.

If "Angel of Mine" had moments of realizations, episode two is the dark drama "Daddy's Angel" starring Marvin Agustin as an embittered ex–convict who, in warranted rage, killed the man (Paolo Paraiso) who raped her bride (Valerie Concepcion) on their wedding night.

Marvin's wife gave birth to a baby boy nine months after the tragedy. To top it all, his wife died after giving birth to the boy who grew up to be Nash Aguas. Marvin resented Nash's existence even if the boy is growing up to be a responsible young man graduating on the top of his third grade class.

Although we knew, the story would end with Marvin learning to love Nash anyway, Dingdong Dantes (in his directorial debut) managed to tell this otherwise usual story into a real dark drama and achieved much of what he's bargained for because Marvin and Nash delivered with A–rate acting in this episode. They also get good support from Jaclyn Jose as Marvin's mother who eventually convinced Marvin that Nash had nothing to do with his torn past.

"Daddy's Angel" also hinted on a number of paradox like how Marvin was very affectionate with his pet cat Pogi and not with the son of his late wife. The episode also established that he is seriously sick with Tuberculosis and just when he decided to love the boy, he said he will love him with what's left of his days.

The third episode is built on kilig moments. "Angel of Love" may be a typical plot: Boy meets girl, they fall in love, but rich boy's family rejects poor girl. Though the episode pulled through with a couple of cute and hilarious moments; especially that scene where Jennylyn walked out from her date with Patrick because his ex-girlfriend (Karel Marquez) showed up. Jen almost fell from the grand restaurant's staircase because she's not used to wearing high-heeled shoes. She then pulls out from her bag a pair of comfy sandals and went on with her grand exit. The real and reel partnership of Jen and Patrick also registered chemistry on screen.

This movie of moments all engaging to hgappily–ever–after endings from Angel and Becky Aguila's Eagle Eye Production is showing today in theaters nationwide.
