n irate Bianca King defended herself on allegations made by actress Jean Saburit that she is a negative influence to her friend Nicole Anderson, Jean's daughter.
In an interview last Sunday on "Showbiz Central," the former "Mulawin" actress tossed the blame over to Jean's court after the veteran actress let out a barrage of nasty "truths" about her strained relationship with daughter Nicole.
On "The Buzz," Jean claimed that Nicole fought with her physically to the point that the 17-year-old kicked her on the stomach. Running out of reasons to justify her daughter's actions, Jean said on "The Buzz," "Paglaban niya sa akin, tinadyakan niya ako sa ano, sa tiyan. Nung nasa floor ako, nakatayo lang siyang ganyan. Sabi niya, ‘You started it.' Sabi ko, ‘Nicole, I can't believe na anak kita.' Sabi ko, ‘Kasi hindi ako ganyan sa magulang ko. Kanino ka nagmana? Or is it your friend?"
She added, "Simula nang mabarkada kina Bianca, this was two years ago, nag-argument kami. "Kung talagang kaibigan mo sila, bakit ka nila ie-encourage na maglayas? Dapat ine-encourage niya yung anak ko na bumalik sa akin, di ba? Na asikasuhin yung pag-aaral sa States?"
Immediately after these revelations by Jean, Bianca aired her side via phone interview on "Showbiz Central" disclosing a whole new perspective to the conflict.
Bianca firmly redirected, "If there's one thing that I am to Nicole, it is that I have always been the best influence to her since we have become friends and Tita Jean knows that. When Nicole arrived from the States, I texted Tita Jean saying, ‘Hi Tita Jean! I miss you! I'm sleeping in your house!' and she replied to me saying, ‘Okay! And I liked the way Nicole has been lately. I like that she tells me where she is, and what she's doing. Thank you for guiding her and thank you for being her friend.'"
Bianca said Jean's interview came out of nowhere. "It's so strange that it's coming out of nowhere na. Tita Jean just told me a couple of days ago, thanking me for guiding her daughter."
Bianca even revealed that it's Jean who is at fault. "Nicole and I just spoke and she gave me permission to share her side. She's now with her dad, they're out of town, vacationing; they're trying to figure out on what Nicole should do now and the rest of year. That claim that Tita Jean said that Nicole kicked her in the stomach? It's not true. Tita Jean already gave the keyword na nilabanan siya, meaning Tita Jean was the one attacking her. Nicole merely pushed her off in self-defense. So she herself said it the first time na nilabanan siya ni Nicole. Nicole has never, ever fought back.

ABS-CBN reacts to DTI charges
ABS–CBN faces another court controversy when the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) filed administrative charges against the Kapamilya network on alleged irregularities in "Wilyonaryo," the segment that spawned the "0–2" controversy last August on noon–time show "Wowowee."
In a media statement, ABS–CBN, through its Corporate Communications department stressed, "ABS-CBN is extremely disappointed with the charges filed by the Department of Trade and Industry."
The station, which is currently embroiled in another court war versus rival GMA–7 and previously with AGB Nielsen Media Research, also expressed, "ABS-CBN categorically denies any wrongdoing or violation of law. ABS-CBN reiterates, there was a design flaw in the wheels but there was never any intention to gain any advantage over contestants or control the outcome of the contests."
ABS–CBN will however respond to the claims made by DTI: "We will answer the charges and we are confident that it will be absolved of any liability."
Like its previous stands when it comes to recent controversies ABS–CBN's Bong Osorio surmised on the DTI issue, "We've always told the truth. And the truth will always come out."
Contrary to the probe results DTI arrived at, "Wowowee" and ABS–CBN were recently cleared by the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) on the alleged anomaly.
According to KBP's legal department, the "Wilyonaryo" system did not prove a scam and host Willie Revillame's surprised reaction affirmed the mistake.
It will be recalled that an episode of "Wowo-wee" on Aug. 20 hit YouTube fame when alleged irregularities happened in "Wilyonaryo." In the videos posted on YouTube, Willie Revillame was confused himself when two numbers were shown inside one wheel during the live game.
The same episode later caused a word war between Willie and host Joey de Leon.
It is recalled that the DTI put together an investigating team last Sept. 13 to find out what really transpired in the questioned segment while senators started reacting in defense of consumers who should be protected particularly those who solely depend on TV contests like "Wilyonaryo."
After two months of probing, the fact–finding team arrived late last year at a conclusion for DTI-National Capital Region Area 3 (which has jurisdiction over ABSCBN in Quezon City) to file administrative charges at the Office of the Regional Caretaker of DTINCR based on investigation, TV reports revealed.
